eCYBERMISSION
Tell me about your AEOP experience...
I loved participating in eCYBERMISSION because it taught me the value of teamwork, curiosity, and a desire to make the world a better place. Along with my team, I researched the environment, conducted experiments, and recorded all of our observations. It was truly eyeopening and exciting.
What got you interested in this program?
I became interested in eCYBERMISSION because it sounded awesome to me—imagine a 7th grader conducting her own experiments to help her community and going through the process like a professional scientist! I saw it as a wonderful and fun learning opportunity.
What’s something that has surprised you about the AEOP program?
Something that surprised me about the AEOP program was how it taught me that no matter how young you are, there is a path you can follow where your dreams can come true. I learned that you can start changing the world today! The problems you’re worried about and the things you want to change— you have the power and potential to help solve them right now. That was truly inspiring to me.
What is the craziest thing you would like to pursue in STEM?
There are several exciting things I’d like to pursue in STEM. One is researching and finding cures for life-threatening illnesses to help save lives. I’d also like to study how to support the environment and ecosystems. But I think the craziest thing I’d like to do is see the Earth from space with my own eyes. I think that would be awesome!
