Title: Meta-Optic Integrated Circuits
Location: Army Research Lab – Adelphi Laboratory Center – Adelphi, MD
Description: This summer research project focuses on developing meta-optic components for integration into photonic circuits. Participants will utilize various optical materials and advanced numerical modeling techniques to investigate the unique capabilities of meta-optics in manipulating light at subwavelength scales, with the ultimate goal of enhancing the performance and functionality of photonic integrated circuits.
Requirements: Preferred hands-on experience includes numerical simulation tools like COMSOL and data acquisition using Python or MATLAB.

The eCYBERMISSION Mini-Grant is intended to support teachers/program leaders as they implement eCYBERMISSION with their teams. Educators (formal and informal) of students in grades 6-9 are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to Title 1 schools and to those with underserved/ under-represented populations.
