Ethan’s passion for STEM started in 2020 when he participated in AEOP’s Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) program. This experience encouraged him to seek out further STEM learning opportunities.
In the summer of 2023, Ethan conducted research on organic photovoltaics at the University of Massachusetts Lowell through AEOP’s High School Internships, contributing to advancements in sustainable energy. He further expanded his research pursuits by studying battery health as a high school intern at the Idaho National Laboratory in 2024 and exploring AI safety as a Fellow of the Non-Trivial Fellowship program in 2023.
Beyond academics, Ethan is an active leader and mentor. He serves on the AEOP Membership Council, has led teams at the Cryptobot Camp at Pace University, and gives back to his community through his hometown library’s Teen Advisory Board.
This fall, Ethan is heading to college, eager to embrace new challenges and opportunities. He looks forward to immersing himself in innovative research, collaborating with a diverse community of peers, and working toward meaningful solutions in sustainable energy and ethical technology.
