Words of Advice?
One thing I would say to someone interested in enrolling in an AEOP program is to build with passion. If there is no passion, there is no creativity or imagination. Passion is a key to success, no matter what STEM activity you pursue.
Best Things about the Program?
The best thing about participating is the team-building and engineering aspect. I was lucky enough to participate in the program with two of my friends. Together, we built a natural water filter. The building process really felt like I was living my dream of being an inventor. I had the power to let my creative juices flow and we created an amazing product. Just the thought of creating an invention that will help strengthen our country is amazing.
How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?
Participating in AEOP really encouraged and motivated me to join other STEM activities. For example, after AEOP allowed me to witness and take part in engineering a product from scratch, I decided to explore the world of programming. I learned the basic syntax of Java and went WORDS OF ADVICE on to create multiple programs.
