I am currently a senior at Simsboro High School. I plan to attend a college and major in biology with a pre-med track and later attend medical school and residency to become a pediatrician. I would love to work in a children’s hospital or even a small clinic.

Words of Advice?

If I had any words for future AEOP participants, it would be to enjoy the time and this opportunity while you have it. I will never take my AEOP experiences for granted because I learned so much about the STEM field and about my own academic knowledge. It is a great to grow your knowledge and a great way to gain lifelong connections.

Best Things about the Program?

Some of the best moments I have had are through the bonds that I have created with AEOP program partners along with my professor and the many college students that I work with. I also enjoyed being able to experience new adventures and ideas and witness what it is like to be in the campus environment.

How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?

Participating in AEOP helped me choose what path I wanted to take to pursue my career and it also opened my mind to the many different ways I could help in the medical field.

What are your future hopes and dreams?

My future hopes and dreams are to be a pediatrician helping and inspiring kids everyday like my pediatrician inspired me.
