Best Things about the Program?
The best thing about this program was the way they incorporated fun activities while learning, which made me become passionate about the subjects they taught me. I especially liked controlling the cockroach with a brain implant.
How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?
AEOP inspired me because it broadened my knowledge of what career path I could take. I believe biomedical engineering is cool because it combines the medical field and the engineering field.
Who is your favorite STEM role model?
Steve Jobs, because he was smart not only in technology, but also in business and other fields.
What fictional character has inspired you the most?
Ferris Bueller from the movie “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,” because he can always see the best in the worst situations.
