What's something that has surprised you about the AEOP program?
It was a lot more hands-on and interactive. You got to work with other students on a lot of the projects.
What got you interested in this program?
What got me interested in the program was the opportunity to learn how to program a car, something I had never done before. I found that really cool and interesting. We also built a drone, which was an awesome experience.
Tell me about your AEOP experience...
My AEOP experience was very fun, and I learned a lot. It taught me that even when things get hard, that’s when you push the hardest and always keep trying your best.
What is the craziest thing you would like to pursue in STEM?
The craziest thing I would like to pursue in STEM is discovering how to genetically modify people to decrease health problems/diseases so they can live longer, healthier lives.
What is something you are passionate about and why?
Something I am passionate about is gymnastics because it is a lot of fun and I am always getting pushed by my coaches and myself to do better.
