Tell us about yourself

Neha is a sophomore in high school, where she studies biomedical science and plans to pursue the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma. Her passion for STEM started after participating in AEOP’s Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) program. With a deep interest in DNA analysis and gene sequencing, Neha is focused on pursuing biomedical research in the future.

In addition to her academic pursuits, she is a competitive gymnast, ranked in the top 100 national athletes in her division for vault. She also enjoys crocheting and is involved in AFJROTC and Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts).

During her free time, Neha enjoys spending quality moments with family and friends, reading, and exploring the outdoors. As a member of the AEOP Membership Council, she hopes to help spread the word about AEOP’s programs so that more students have the opportunity to participate and inspire others to pursue the field they are passionate about.
