Tell Us About Yourself
Nidhi Sagaram is a junior at the Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) in Aurora, Illinois. Her STEM journey began with eCYBERMISSION, where she competed for four years, reaching nationals three times and winning twice. She also placed third in the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) state-level poster presentations.
Beyond academics, Nidhi tutors young students in math at her local library and volunteers at her community hospital. She is currently conducting research at Northwestern University under Dr. Arun Sharma, using a 3D bioprinter to develop a functional bladder replacement for inflamed bladders in rats.
Passionate about expanding STEM access, Nidhi hopes to introduce AEOP programs into local schools and collaborate with teachers to inspire more students to explore STEM opportunities.
