Participating in this program inspired me to try get more of my students passionate about doing science.
What are your future hopes and dreams?
I want to be able to inspire, motivate, plug-in any student interested in a STEM career to achieve their dream. I want to know the resources that are out there and give students the appropriate access to it.
If you could meet on person living or dead, who would you choose? Why?
W.E.B. Du Bois. I would want to talk to him about the importance of education and how to lift people up through it to a higher standard of living.
Recent Accomplishements
In August of 2018, I published an op-ed in The Hechinger Report entitled “A summer in a science lab taught me the importance of hand-on learning”.
