Stephen is a student at the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Virginia. Before joining the AEOP Membership Council, he participated in GEMS at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research in Silver Spring, Maryland.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Stephen is also an active member of his school’s Student Principal’s Advisory Committee, TJ Media, and the debate team. Over the next year, he aims to expand AEOP’s school community networking and contribute to the media team.

Stephen’s goal on the Membership Council is to strengthen the AEOP community and increase the program’s outreach within individual school districts, where students can share opportunities like the Junior Science and Humanities Symposium (JSHS) and GEMS program with peers. Stephen is excited to contribute to AEOP’s mission of expanding outreach and building community.
