For middle and high school students, Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) is a summer STEM enrichment program that takes place at participating U.S. Army Research Centers and Laboratories. For fifth to eighth grade students, Junior Solar Sprint (JSS) is a competition to create the fastest, most interesting and best crafted solar-vehicle possible.
