Description: Environmental Laboratory (EL) is seeking students who will solve problems and initiate scientific discovery to deliver vital engineering solutions, in collaboration with our partners, to secure our Nation, energize our economy, and reduce disaster risk.
EL conducts research in the following areas:
- Ecosystem science and technology
- Environmental resiliency
- Environmental sensing
- Ecological modeling and forecasting
- Risk and decision science
- Environmentally sustainable material
- Systems biology
- Climate change
- Environmental security
High school students 16 years old and older. Must have a 2.5 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.

eCYBERMISSION Grants
The eCYBERMISSION Mini-Grant is intended to support teachers/program leaders as they implement eCYBERMISSION with their teams. Educators (formal and informal) of students in grades 6-9 are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to Title 1 schools and to those with underserved/ under-represented populations.
