Title: Microalgae Researcher
Location: DEVCOM Chemical Biological Center – Edgewood (APG), MD
Description:
- Degree in Phycology, Environmental sciences, Biology or related field
- Extensive experience growing, culturing, and harvesting microalgae (cyanobacteria, dinoflagellates, diatoms)
- Background in the use of microalgae for biomanufacturing
- Demonstrated expertise in sterile technique, best lab practices, experimental design, and data analysis
- Ability to conduct research individually and while working in a team
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and problem solving skills
Candidate Requirements:
- B.S. with 4+ years of research and/or work experience
- M.S. with 2+ years of research and/or work experience
- Ph.D. with 1+ year of research and/or work experience

The eCYBERMISSION Mini-Grant is intended to support teachers/program leaders as they implement eCYBERMISSION with their teams.
