Words of Advice?
My words of advice for future AEOP participants are to ask questions and don’t be afraid to try something new even if it looks overwhelming.
Best Things about the Program?
The experience inspired me to focus my path on mechanical engineering in the future. The best thing about AEOP was meeting so many STEM professionals and learning about their work. I also loved learning how to operate a drone and also how it functioned internally.
How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?
Participating in AEOP allowed me to explore more deeply into the field of aeronautics and engineering.
Who is your favorite STEM role model? Why?
Antoine Lavoisier. He was a French chemist who established a new system that completely changed what researchers believed at that time.
What are your future hopes and dreams?
I would like to attend my dream school, UCLA. Then, after college, I hope to continue my career in STEM and go to work for the Department of Defense.
