Best Things about the Program?
I really liked how we could do hands-on work. Even though it was a virtual program, it was very interactive. I really enjoyed being able to listen to other people’s ideas and also share my thoughts out there without feeling I was wrong or I would be judged. I appreciated the feedback I received because it helped me improve my work.
Who is your Favorite STEM Role Model? Why?
Katherine Johnson, because like her, I also want to do something that everyone remembers and be able to help the world by discovering things.
What are your Future Hopes and Dreams?
In the future, I hope to be successful in helping people in need. I plan to do this through a career in the medical field.
If you Could Meet One Person Living or Dead, who would you Choose? Why?
I would love to meet Harriet Tubman because I really look up to her and admire her courage; she helped many slaves escape through the underground railroad.
What is your Passion or Hobby outside of STEM?
Outside of STEM, I really enjoy playing instruments. Currently, I am learning to play the guitar. I also love to write in my free time.
