eCYBERMISSION
Tell me about your AEOP Experience
I participated in eCYBERMISSION in 2023 during my eighth-grade year. Since my partner was in ninth grade, I competed at the higher grade level. Our project focused on e-bike safety, and we created a “Smart Helmet” designed to ensure riders always wear a helmet. Through hard work, we won at both the state and regional levels. Although we didn’t take home the win at Nationals in Virginia, we were thrilled to receive the $5,000 STEM-In-Action Grant. This funding will allow us to continue improving our project and prepare for Nationals again next year.
What is Something you are Passionate about and Why?
I’m passionate about STEM for the learning and real-world impact it offers, helping me grow and apply my knowledge to benefit the community.
What's Something that has Surprised You about the AEOP Program?
AEOP offers a variety of diverse programs that foster critical skills, enhance problem-solving abilities, and inspire a passion for STEM. By emphasizing mentorship and inclusivity, AEOP ensures that students from all backgrounds have the opportunity to explore and excel in STEM fields, helping to create a more innovative and equitable future.
What are your Future Hopes and Dreams?
My dream is to become a biologist. I hope to work in biotech, uncovering new insights into human biology and innovation.
