The Defense Health Agency-Public Health (DHA PH), Aberdeen GEMS 2025 program will be offered by Entomological Science Division. The first-ever DHA PH Bug Camp: an immersive and educational summer program designed to provide youth with a unique opportunity to explore the captivating world of insects and foster a love for entomology with a focus in military environments. This in-person camp aims to combine outdoor experiences, hands-on activities, and scientific learning to make the study of bugs exciting and engaging.

For Teachers

Summer in-person opportunity to serve as a student advisor/mentor as well as a lab instructor. Defense Health Agency professionals leverage Teachers’ skill and experience with students to help deliver curriculum during entomological educational sessions. They help to bridge potential instructional and learning gaps between the students and the DHA scientists and Entomologists. Teachers must be U.S. Citizens and have a teaching degree or certificate preferably in science fields. They will receive a competitive stipend based on education level and experience.
