Tell us About Yourself

Ms. Dawn Martin, born in Huntsville, Alabama, the home of the U.S. Space Camp, holds an undergraduate degree in applied mathematics and a master’s in Secondary Education/Mathematics from Alabama A&M University. With 25 years of experience, she is a mathematics teacher at East Limestone High School in Athens, Alabama.

Ms. Martin is excited for her third year as a Teacher for the Gains in the Education of Mathematics and Science (GEMS) program and her new role as an Ambassador for eCYBERMISSION. She hopes to one day participate in the RESET program with AEOP.

Looking ahead, Ms. Martin is eager to gain experience collaborating with other council members to set goals that increase AEOP’s visibility in the community.
