Shreyashi is a high school junior passionate about encouraging others to pursue STEM careers. She is a national ambassador for Young Women in Bio, a member of the ISCB Student Council, vice president of the Southeast USA Regional Student Group (RSG) of ISCB, and president of multiple STEM clubs at her school. As a Near-Peer mentor for Camp Invention, she helps inspire others to explore STEM.

Shreyashi’s independent research on phage-host interactions (COMPHI) earned her invitations to present at major conferences, and she has won several science fair awards. She is currently interning at the University of South Florida’s computational biophysics lab.

Shreyashi is committed to using her leadership and advocacy skills to raise awareness about AEOP’s STEM programs, particularly for students in rural areas with limited access to high-quality STEM opportunities.
