Tell Us About Yourself

Deveraux Reyna has been a student at Great Hearts Forest Heights since sixth grade and stays busy with a mix of academics, sports, and community involvement.

He’s an award-winning photographer with the Kendall County 4-H Photography Club, earning the Silver Star Award. His interest in science led him to the U.S. Army Institute of Surgical Research STEM Camp, and on the field, he plays as a defender for his school’s soccer team.

Giving back is also a big part of his life—he’s volunteered at The Farm at Mission San Juan, helped run sports camps at Cross Mountain Church, and participated in Serve Day to support Hill Country Daily Bread. He’s also trained in life-saving skills through the “Stop the Bleed, Save a Life” course with the American College of Surgeons.

Looking ahead, Deveraux wants to help keep AEOP alumni connected as they move on to college and careers. In the next year, he’s excited to share his college plans and start his first job.
