Words of Advice?
To someone contemplating enrolling in an AEOP program, I would certainly encourage them to join. AEOP has given me such a great exposure to science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Best Things about the Program?
In my opinion, the best things about participating in the eCYBERMISSION program was being able to benefit the community using STEM, learning more, and working together as a team. I also enjoyed getting an “out of the classroom” experience with STEM. eCYBERMISSION taught me how I can apply science to solve real world problems. Through this program, I was able to meet with several people and expand my networks. Participating in eCYBERMISSION has been a very valuable experience.
How Participating in AEOP Inspired You to Advance in the STEM Field?
I realized that STEM is not just lab experiments and engineering — there are many avenues to explore in STEM fields. The program sparked my interest in science, math, engineering, and technology. Through AEOP, I got to learn so much more, which encourages me to expand my boundaries even more.
Who is your favorite STEM role model?
My favorite STEM role model is Albert Einstein, because of his vast knowledge. Einstein thought outside the box and was very innovative. His ideas affect us to this day.
